Well. My first entry on this thing. Might seem kinda silly considering I have a proper diary at home but I never seem to have time to fill them in. This is much faster as well...

My name's Sarah, I live in New Zealand in a cottage with my partner of just over one year, David. Expect to hear a lot about him, I love him but...well, he drives me up the wall sometimes. I'll be 19 in May and I enjoy writing, dancing, chocolate (what girl doesn't!) and going out over the weekends. I work for a high-profile real estate company as a receptionist. I don't think I have the balls to be an actual agent!

So where can I begin today...David has had another fight with his mother when she came to visit from Wellington so we're no longer speaking to her and she's taken away half his stuff. She's also got the Lord of the Rings pendant I bought him for his birthday at a whopping $100. If she doesn't give that back as we politely asked my parents are going to file theft.

We've always had problems with David's mum, Fiona. When we first moved into the flat she went nuts, hit David across the face and didn't speak to him before they moved up to Wellington. This was her first visit here since they left. At first it was all fine and dandy, she bought him clothes and tickets to the David Bowie concert next month. Well now that's all down the drain because she decided to pick a fight with him - over the amount of gel he was wearing in his hair. She started texting my phone yesterday, saying "Forget about Bowie, don't bother coming to get your things I'm taking them with me, won't bother you again." So I texted back saying "Fine but can you please drop off the pendant Sarah gave me for my birthday." The reply? "I'm sorry you think so little of your family, if you're happier away from us, all the best for a happy life."

WHAAAAAAT?!?! Did that last text have ANYTHING to do with our simple request? Well NO! I'm beginning to really dislike her to the point where I can't face her. Which is fortunate because she lives 600 km away. But still...

My mother reckons she picks fights with him because she's angry at the fact he decided to stay with me rather than go to Wellington with them. It would've been WORSE if he'd gone!

So yeah, we've had a rough weekend with that. I've also just gotten over a bug that kept me out of work for a week, so we are very broke at the moment. Not even enough for the rent but luckily my parents are helping us out.

Ow. My knuckles hurt from all this frantic typing and the olds just got home (I always scab the computer at their place, we don't have one!!)
