Christ almighty, I thought I was never gonna be able to add an entry. "99% of the time our servers run fine" HA! I tried to add entries FIVE TIMES. Oh well. I'm here now so I might as well make use of it. I don't know why I'm bothering though, my fingers are so cold I can barely type.
I'm going to Dunedin tonight - yay! Two six hour bus trips in three days. So basically most of my weekend will involve travelling but oh well, because it's Dunedin I'll probably end up getting drunk and staying up all Saturday night. Heaps of fun, come back to Christchurch with a hangover.
Have completely gone off the rails with the diet but I don't seem to be too upset about this. I guess it's because I've had two weekends away in a row so it's been harder, plus this week I just have not had time to go to the gym after work. (like hell I'm gonna get up at 6 in the morning four days in a row - McDonald's provided enough of that...)
David has almost - almost, please keep that word in mind before we start getting cocky - landed a job. And the best part is, it's at Telecom, which is pretty much one of New Zealand's best employers (not to mention biggest companies, woohoo!) I really really hope he gets it, although I don't know how things will get with him earning more money than me. It's never been that way. Well he's promised to pay off my credit card to make up for all the bills I've been paying since...oh, February. My credit card is actually a fraction of all that but I shouldn't complain, I want it paid off before I go to Australia.
OW! Fuck I just jammed my finger in my cellphone. How the hell did I manage that?! Geez I'm a dick sometimes. I finish in 50 minutes so I might go amuse myself with some more euka. I've been playing that up like a storm today, and checking out Trademe of course. I swear to God I'm getting addicted to that site. I can't have a week where I don't buy something. My latest fad is to get a video camera or a version of The Little Mermaid on DVD, which is impossible to find because it was never released here. :( My favourite Disney movie too.
I've recently rediscovered the joy of reading. I have these spells where I don't read for months on end and then I get a new book and it's full on reading from there on in. At the moment I've got two on the go - "A Kept Woman" by Louise Bagshawe (very shrewd and honest) and "No Greater Love" by Danielle Steel (have read a million times before, one of my favourite books). I also want to get a version of Marian Keyes book "Watermelon" cos that's just a fantastic read. She's a brilliant author. Everytime I read her books I'm inspired to write like her, although I know I never could. Listen to me rambling now, does that have the inklings of a world famous author? I think not.
Watched "Bruce Almighty" last night for the hell of it, what a great movie. I absolutely LOVE Jim Carrey. He cracks me up. Ooh, I also saw the new Harry Potter movie on Wednesday night and it was FANTASTIC! I loved it! No doubt I'll see it again!
Shit in two hours I'll be on a shitty little bus to a shitty little town to see my shitty little friends who can never decide if they like each other or not. Honestly, it's the fault of being brought up in an all girls school. They all get shitty if you don't talk to them for three days and...arghh, I shouldn't bitch about my friends down there, they're pretty much the only ones I have.
I better print out these calendars or they'll just piss me off on Monday morning (when I'm partly hungover and absolutely shattered). It's about 3 degrees outside, every time I walk out of my cosy heated office my face hurts.
